We have all heard it said any number of ways: "I want to go home and think about it", "I'm not sure I really need orthodontic treatment", "I'll have to talk to my spouse”. Gracefully continuing the conversation after the initial objection is the real art of the gifted treatment coordinator, and is something that must be practiced over and over until it becomes just another part of the initial orthodontic discussion.
